Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist I is responsible for supporting the company’s internal business partners to ensure operational excellence. This position collaborates with account and sales executives as well as other internal departments and requires communication, analytical, and professional skills to coordinate pre-onboarding, onboarding, and post-onboarding activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the established pre-onboarding, onboarding, and post-onboarding processes to meet organizational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with other NSD departments as necessary to facilitate the onboarding and ongoing client support.
  • Work closely with the sales organization to provide client support on an as needed basis including reporting, analysis and facilitating projects throughout NSD.
  • Work with Sales Executives and/or prospective clients, gather, organize, and provide onboarding documents from client as needed by Sales Operations to set up client into various NSD systems.
  • Provide requested reporting information to Sales Executive or Account Manager to review with client.
  • Follow-up on client requested information or complaints with appropriate NSD department and provide to Sales Executive or Account Manager to review with client.
  • Field inbound phone calls from clients and follow-up on any requests from Account Manager or Sales Executive.
  • Work with Sales Executive and Account Manager to develop QBR presentation content materials for smooth QBR presentations.
  • Work with Marketing to set up product training programs for Sales Executives or Account Managers for client accounts.
  • Support clients with technology and other administrative issues
  • Assist Sales Operations with NRDE portal training

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required: Associates/BA degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2-3 years of workplace experience required with a focus on operational excellence (in a Sales and/or Marketing capacity preferred)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intermediate skills Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Word
  • Proficient in one or more CRM systems.
